I'm confused on which will actually be faster or better. I'm trying to decide on computer and based on what I have read it seems the corsair will be faster. Is that correct? Can some one explain? Much Thanks.

The 2GB will be faster. But if you need something that requires more than 2GBs of RAM than the 3GBs will be faster at that given task.

That Corsair will run faster than a non corsair 2GB (some brand) 800MHz
Go for the 3GB

PC should run faster with the ddr2-800mhz and more so when overclocked. Just try running Super Pi.
