It is a feeling of real freedom to book at one of the Hotels on Fremont Street. Once you park you can hang at your place. If you get tired, you walk out of your place with a drink in your hand and go next door. All these people are hanging out at one of the many stages. You can hang their or move on. Go to the movies at one end. Go to the stage in the middle and watch the show there. Go to the other end and hang at the shops. Watch the show overhead.
Go to Yahoo and check out the hotels on Fremont street and see which one is in your affordability index. The Gold Nugget is the best.

Treasure Island: It's reasonable priced, good location & a nice atmosphere.

When you walk through the casino....you don't have that "frenzy" that you have at some of the other hotels. It's clean, good restaurants & close to everything on the strip.

Hope you enjoy Las Vegas....I did & still do every time I go back!!

Mandalay Bay is the best choice for 20 somethings. They have an artificial beach, clubs, and national known acts. (bands and comedians)

If your're on a budget, Imperial Palace is affordable, but must be booked well in advance. It is the most centralized on the strip so you're close to everything.

If you like buffets/ good eats I recommened Paris or Golden Nugget.
