Since all are divisible by 9:

9 ( x^2 - x - 6); factors of 6 are 1 & 6, 2 & 3 ; use 2 & 3 to get 1, then:

9 [ (x-3) (x+2) ]

You can equate this to 0 so that you can get the values of x, then:

x - 3 = 0, so x = 3
x + 2 = 0, so x = -2

Hence your x is either 3 or -2
