As you've learned from the universities website, you can get into college when you're homeschooled independently. Any curriculum you use is as good as you make it. Whether or not piecing together curriculum or a "boxed" curriculum is better is a matter of personal choice. People tend to always recommend what they did as best, but what's best is personal. Lots of curriculum will do, the one that you excel at is the "best". Taking community college course as a dual-enrolled high school student can make you more desirable for a top university. It gives you a competitive edge and shows how you'll perform in their college classroom setting. As for vet school, it isn't going to make any difference whether you were homeschooled or attended a physical school. When you apply to professional school, like vet, med, dental, law etc....they do not care what you did in high school. They won't even ask about it. After all, you won't apply to vet school until you're finished, or in your final year, of your BS.. You will need to have excellent grades while at university, community service while at university, MCAT or whatever testing vet school requires for acceptance. It is more difficult to be accepted to vet school than medical school. Your GPA in science and math courses while an undergraduate will be very important. You will likely find the science curriculum is secular at university, rather than the Christian curriculum you are using now. You might want to expose yourself to some of the ideas of the secular scientists. Even if you don't believe their theories, knowing what others believe will make you better educated and a more well rounded applicant. Take as much math and science as you can now. It'll give you an advantage during the time you're at university. Best of luck!
