My favorites are "Dragonwyck" with Gene Tierney and "Laura" with Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews. He also was in "Leave Her To Heaven" with Gene Tierney. These are a few of his movies made in the 1940's and are classics, especially "Laura". I also liked him in his horror films later in his career.

I remember The House of Wax scared the heck out of me. Vincent Price was a great actor and his voice was unbelievable. He played the doctor that created Edward Scissorhands with Johnny Depp. I'm not sure if that was his last movie or not.

I think at the time in 1961 The PIt and the Pendilum was the scariest movie I had ever sat thru. My boyfriend (later hub) and I went 45 miles in the winter to see it. Got a nasty speeding ticket on the way home.

He was in a movie with Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell called "His Kind of Woman" that was a very different type of role for him... that's my favorite. Price was such a talented, classy actor. If you haven't seen "His Kind of Woman" try to find it, it's great! Of course, Robert Mitchum was very easy on the eyes, and Jane Russell makes Pamela Anderson look like A cups!

My favorite was "The Pit and the Pendulum". Of course, this was seen after I read the book. It was good.
