What are your comments on Abortion? Where it has to be done? Where it should not be done?

When parents or partners are ready to bring up the kid and by mistake if pregnancy happens, it is better to abort the baby.
IF the girls health is good enough to take the pregnancy then it is better to abort.
When you are using all the family methods still pregnancy happens and you can't affort to have another child, then you should go for abortion.
When a girl doesn't want to have the baby, she has every right to abort the baby, if mother herself is not ready, who are you and me to say no.

I'm not advocating abortion, but I am advocating a woman's right to choose. That's not saying that every promiscuous girl should be allowed to get abortions whenever they get knocked up...it means there are times even in close, committed relationships where things go wrong. Condoms break, birth control isn't 100% effective. Parenthood is a huge, time-consuming step in life, and I don't think people who are not ready for it should have to go through with it. Why outlaw abortion and force someone to have a baby they can't care for? Isn't that worse than just not having it at all? Think about it.

I'd like to add, that I agree with the answerer before me. Regardless of what anyone in here thinks about it, abortion ultimately involves the woman's body, and no government or law should have any right to control what she chooses to do with it.

Whoever had the audacity to give out thumbs down to some perfectly logical, well-defended answers because they don't correspond to your own opinion really needs to reevaluate themselves and their respect for others.

Well abortion is something that I think can be allowed until the baby has reached a certain point in it's developement.

When you abort you're killing a human in formation, but then again, this "human" has the life status of a worm. So why don't you feel guilty when you kill animals like flies, mice or lizards? They might as well be more intelligent than any human in formation...

BUT, from certain point on, abortion isn't the right thing to do. When the fetus is recognizable as a baby, you would be killing a human being.

Abortion can't be something of a birth control method, only a last option. Safe sex is the best way around it.

Whether abortion can be done or not, is a decision the parents are to make, no one else.

dude i m totally against abortion.....cuz dude 1stly i'll talk about married people...just 2 save a little money...or just that they r not settled in life or the mothers r not ready doesnt mean that they'll have their child get aborted..if the mothers r not ready then they shouldnt conceive.....its a veryyyy big crime in my eyez.....n 2ndly....if by chance unmarried girls get aborted ...then they dont have even a single right 2 abort the baby....cuz its the unmarried mother n her partner fault which led her 2 such results....if she wanted 2 abort the baby then y the hell she had an illegal sexual intercourse...unmarried mothers should give birth 2 the child n then should take care of the baby also...cuz its not the baby's fault....n ya in rape cases they can have abortion done...but the victims r rarely saved.....mostly raped victimz r not alive coz they cant bear the tragedy or shock which took place in their lives....tc...sweet dreamz...bye....

That's a really hard subject. I personally don't feel that abortion is right, but sometimes I think of women who were raped and became pregnant from the rape, true it is not the unborn baby's fault, but than the other part of me puts myself in the women shoes, and I don't think I can ever have a baby if it were from rape, because than it would be a constant reminder. It's a tough subject.

EDIT:
People need to see the negative side of things as well.
1) If a teen becomes a parent, there's a higher chance of THAT child becoming one as well. It just goes on and on.
2) You say that could have been the cancer cure founder? They could very well be the next Hitler.

The ONLY thing I don't agree with in abortion is Late Term Abortion/Partial birth.
It usually happens LATE in the pregnancy, meaning the mother had a long time to think it over. She should have decided when she first realized she was pregnant, whether or not she should keep the baby.

Being a woman, and 45 at that, I feel it must be legal. It should be done in a clinic or hospital. If you are actually asking when it should or should not be done, I feel that it must be in the first 12 weeks. Unless there is a medical reason for it to be done at a later point, which is not very common.

I could go on, but unless you walk in the shoes of the woman who is making this decision, it is pointless.

Basically its killing an unborn child. They do have life the moment they are fertilised. Abortion can be done only in extreme cases only when a life is in danger. Also if the would be mother is not mentally ready to raise that child, its better to abort that pregnancy, as it would be hell to grow without mothers love. It would be a minor sin when compared to hating lifelong the product of unwanted pregnancy.

abortion should not be a birth control method... but i do not believe in babies being born to unfit parents... i am pro choice. personally, the only way i would have an abortion would be if i was raped... but i believe that each person has the right to choose what to do with her own body and whatever may or may not be growing inside it.

I don't believe in getting an abortion, there is a reason a child is conceived and it's terrible to think that some of our scientist of the future cure person for cancer, was possibly eliminated. If a person is irresponsible they should take charge of their actions there is such thing as adoption. People are born for a reason.
