Tim Hortons donuts company in Canada tells employees that all tips must be donated to their " send a kid to camp" charity ,for which Tim Horton's company recieves the tax benefits. Is it legal to demand that an employee donate their tips to your charity while you recieve the benefits?

It is not down here where I live but don't know about Canada. Check with your labor board or Canada's equalivent to labor board ask them. off the record first. without giving your name so it will not come back on you. at the job.

Doesn't sound legal to me. Tips are voluntary in the first place. If they want to extort your hard earned tips based on the effort you put in to providing excellent service, then they need to increase your base pay substantially. I hate companies that do this sort of thing. My company strong arms donations to United Way each year because they like saying "83% of our employees give to charity" but it if it is so important to them, they can just frickin' donate themselves instead of sending 15 memos and payroll deduction forms.
