I bought an hp lap top about 3 weeks ago from future shop. I didn`t take the extended warranty but i still have a 1 year warranty with hp. My laptop broke today, the battery has problems and so does the keyboard, what does my warrant cover me with.

Hi. Just return it. They will know (and may give you a hard time) but be insistent that you want it fixed or replaced.

Your 1 year guaranty is for any hardware damage.
All you have to do is call technical support explain the issue, and they will tell you all the procedures to get it repaired.
