That's like claiming to be a liar and then lying all the time; by definition, you're not.

That's a persona. A mask we put on in dealing with others. To some extent we even wear it to ourselves. So are we all hypocrites. Yes, to some extent we are.

Etiquette and common courtesy are forms of hypocrisy. Asking someone how they are, when you don't give a darn is hypocrisy ...

I guess in this case the question is whether the end justifies the mean. If it's a noble end - i.e. ensuring your survival and well being? Acceptance by others? More power and reward? Are these noble ends?

By doing what you describe you are being human, interacting with other humans. Thus, you are being a hypocrite.

Interestingly, if you didn't do it, you could be classified as a social outcast. So it's a no win scenario.

if i've read your question correctly, then the answer is yes. your actions validate what you're being accused of. I think you're trying to create a paradox. remeber a paradox only happens when your conclusion to something counters common sense or logic, yet makes sense.
ex. "this sentence is false" this is a paradox. if what is says is true, then it cannot be false. yet it tells you it's false, which makes the statement true. thus the paradox.
