hey my school just started two years ago and we are now trying to get our school up. we need a mascot for our school. what do u think it should be??
our school name is The Academy of arts and sciences.

Otters.
Everyone loves otters, but they get no love as mascots. I think that should change.
I also think Academy Otters sounds good and you can have cheers that rhyme with otters like "We are the otters, no one else is hotter!"

Another way to go is implementing the school colors like Alabama's Crimson Tide, Syracuse Orange, Duke Blue Devils etc...

No offense but they all sound nerdy. If you can somehow take academy out then it would sound better. Maybe you could get your school to vote on the mascot.

I would steer clear of all the "common" nicknames. Lions, Bulldogs, Tigers, Eagles, Panthers, Cougars, Wildcats. They are used out.

I honestly don't like any of those. I would prefer the Academy Blue-Birds, or the Unicorns.
