All Incandecent bulbs are hazardous for Air shipment because it tends to explode when subjected to lower, and implode when subjected to higher atmospheric pressure, as the bulb itself is a vacumm vessel that houses the filaments. This is basically the reason why it is hazardous for air shipment as cargoes flies out in a area of the aircraft that is not pressurized.
