i have a car, job, and my liscense. I'm 16, and yet my mom still makes me come home at like 9:30 or 10, i want more privlages, how do i make her understand that i am a kid and i want to have fun?

Your mom is that way because she is looking out for you. Your parents are the ones who make the rules and you are the one who has to follow those rules. Be glad that your mom cares about you and only wants the best for you. Staying out until 10:00 is not all that bad and you should be glad that you have a car to drive and have a job. My dad use to tell me that if I can find a place to live any cheaper than where I am now living then I can move out of my parent's home. I never had to pay rent and I no kids that have to pay rent after they go to work. Don't be so hard on your mom. Your mom is doing what she is supposed to do and that is loving you. Some parents don't care about what their children do.

if youre 16 yearo ld right then you need to listening to youre mom or dad rules if you do still live with them at their home. then you have do listening and following their rules no matter what how old you are or even has a job, even a car, etc.. youre still young, . plus if youre older then 16 age then move out of youre parents house then they cant do much but youre not older yet to dedicate what you want to do in youre life . you dont want get in trouble by the policeofficers caughtin you staying out side after midnight and even had to call youre parents to pick you up and keep them feeling worrying about what happen to their daughter . maybe you will end up getting rape, even kidnape, or even murder by someone who is stranger out there . you shouldnt called youre own mother a b** word if you do hate her because you couldnt able go out antyime you want . you can still have fun with youre friends on the weekends but if youre stil in high school and have classes during the weekdays then you should wait til you can do something on the weekends with youre friends and stay up not midnights cause there are many wackos and sacko people that stays outdoors can even do something bad to you .

Sorry sweetie you ARE a kid---for two MORE YEARS.... besides, you aren't SUPPOSED to be out driving around after 9:30PM also because you are only 16 and DMV laws state that you can only drive after 9PM if you are driving FROM WORK at your age....joy riding stops at 9PM... (8PM in some states).... ALso, all these laws don't matter--it's your MOM'S laws and as long as you still live under her roof, you MUST follow her rules... she is doing what is best for you and trying to protect your LIFE....more teens get into car accidents after 9pm then at any other time - - - MOST of these accidents are caused by kids YOUR AGE who are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE on the road at the hours they are getting into these accidents.... so listen to your mother and LOVE her and RESPECT her because she certainly is showing she LOVES YOU by making you follow RULES.

You are still a child and your mother is responsible for your well being. She has to make sure you are safe, and the best way is to make sure you are in at a good time, to help prevent anything bad happening to you. I think you can have a lot of fun, but you don't have to be out late in order to do that. I wonder if you called your mom that name to her face where it would get you. Just shows you are not as old as you think.

calling your mom names is really a kid thing. OMG you have to be home by ten. Life must be over. Your mom is responsible for every action your 16 year old butt does. I think you should have your car taken away until you learn a little respect.
