Yes, I agree. But you should also post this in Yahoo! Products section for Yahoo! Answers admins to see too.

Well justme, I suppose you are up & about now. I will soon be in bed. It is 8:45 pm. I may be up a couple more hours.
Seems you got the Americans attention with your question.
I seldom ask questions since I am working toward points to reach level 7. Then I will relax. That is my goal.
I also find some people ( not all ) do remove their's very soon. I was answering a question today and put a lot into it, only to find she had picked a best answer while I was typing. That has happened to me 3 or 4 times. Waste of time that was.
Got to move on & answer some questions.
I am so glad your question got such a good response~~~~

I agree justme, that we should all be doing that.
I am one of those people who ask very few questions. But the ones I did ask, I was always hurrying to a resolution on them. Not for any particular reason but that I thought that most of the answers I was going to get were already posted after eight hours or so.
Well, because of illness earlier in the week, my last question was left up much longer than I would normally have left it. In fact, it wasn't until Yahoo sent me a reminder notice in my email that I even remembered about it. The answers that I received after the second day astonished me when I read them. They were more thoughtful. And more insightful. And I heard from people I had no idea would be interested in the topic.
I made a resolution to myself then that I would always leave my question on until I was reminded of it by that email form Yahoo. Now all I have to do is get around to ASKING some!

It's a good idea to remind everyone. Sometimes we forget all the time differences, it's 8:25 p.m.-Friday, here now. I have the same problem sometimes, when I get on in the afternoon, before I can 'catch up'. When I ask a question, I leave it on at least 24 hrs., before I pick a best answer.

We can certainly do that. I had considered doing it more often on the weekends since so many of our friends are busy with family and chores and spend less time on the computer. I am guilty of sometimes taking my questions off after a few hours as it seems perhaps everyone who will answers has done just that. Enjoy your presence and your contributions here on seniors. Happy Saturday!:)

Some do pick best answers soon, but I just got 2 best answers from a year ago !! I had forgotten about even answering them.
I know the time difference, as I have some friends in UK, and other places.

Right on girl. You and I are 1/2 a world away from the action so we are always 'bringing up the rear' LOL

I would love to but I have never
been able to extend my questions because I never
had those icons across the top.
Now that we have the new
format, I think there's an
edit and extend place across
the bottom.

Even though I ask very few questions, I leave them open until their time has expired. Sometimes I don't realize that there are people here who are on different time zones.

sorry just me ,I am also guilty but as others have said I thought I wasn't going to get any more answers and didn't want to take up extra space. I do look forward to your questions when I get up in the morning and thanks for the heads up .
