Many of today's fishing poles are made of boron graphite. Some are made of fiberglass and, of course, you can still find the old cane poles.

...and then came the Carrot Stix which is made out of carrot fiber. This less than four ounce rod took Best of Show in the major fishing convention held annually. Supposedly it's the best fishing creation in the last twenty years. The rod is made by Element 21 (E21).

Fishing poles are made from different material.
in the start Bamboo split and made into Fly poles.
Price was from .$ 20.00 up to $ 80.00.
then fiberglass was created, and was considered
the best,then carben fiber came along.LIKE ALL FISHMEN,they had to have the best.

Different rods have different eyes in number and kind . Some use 9 and ceramic is the popular one , but most of the upper end rods have gone to the new pop up titanium guides . Most rod builders use nine eyes , but St. Croix is one that uses 10 on every rod . They are tremendous rods .
