people will not use their bath towels more than once??

Some people do if they hang them up and they thoroughly dry or they have a heated towel rack. I like to change my towels after each use because I have access to a washer and dryer and can't stand the smell of a towel that has stayed damp for too long (kind of rancid). It doesn't take much effort to wash and dry them again and I do the wash every day anyway. If you had to go to the laundromat, I wouldn't do it but would like to hang the towels out so they would get completely dry and that would solve the issue.

Drying yourself off is actually part of the cleaning process, some of the dirt and oils you missed or aren't as water soluble get wiped off on the towel. Also, when you use the towel, it get's wet. After a few uses it can start to smell musty and transfer the smell onto your skin.

Sure, I use mine more than once, but after a while it starts to smell and I have to clean it. It's always nice to have a fresh, clean towel.

You can use your towel more than once. Its because it gets wet not because of your body. When it gets wet if you dont leave it to dry it will smell bad like beach or pool towels

I use my bath towels twice. If your the only one using them then why not more than once as long as they weren't soaking wet and dried smelly...ya know what I mean?

I use mine more than once. Usually odor on a towell is a big sign NOT to use it !

I use mine more than once. But I think it's cuz sometimes you still are sluffing (I know that's really not a word) skin cells. And they end up on the towel.

I know I do. My body is squeaky clean enough when I am done showering to reuse my towel.

uhmm actually you are kinda wrong
according to my Chemistry teacher,
she says that when you get out of the shower you are still dirty
because water has a lot of lil germ thingies
and ofcourse we humans have small pores all over our bodies
those lil germie thingies enter those pores
and thats how you are actually not clean
