Oh yes, I am definitely an addict. I constantly think about tattoos. I am so glad that the fall is here because fall/winter is tattoo season for me.
I have 27 and just designed 28 & 29. They are all orginal -- very original. I couldn't imagine walking into a shop and saying "Can I have Tattoo # 2 please".
Oh, you have me so excited now -- I guess I will start designing #30.

I have 3 of tattoos. Even though not of my own design each of them were carefully chosen with my full intention and none of them came out of an artists sketchbook. Each of the tattoos on my body stand there for a reason and I'll probably get 2 more to again mark a great influence in my life on my body.

Went to get one a lot of years back and they were shut. I now realise that a tattoo is for life not for a fashion statement. Luckiest day of my life. Fashions change and in a few years when it does, All the young trendies are going to look pretty stupid when the next generation give them stick. I remember the Teddy boys, how stupid would they look wandering around if they couldn't take off their drape jackets because they were a permanent part of them, like a Tat.

yes i used to have a cannabis leaf tattoo on my upper right arm in my younger days, but about 4 years ago i decided to get it covered with a tribal pattern. unfortunately i had to get colour put between the black pattern to cover old one properly and it doesn't look as good as it should, but £100 and 4 3/4 hours later, i'm happier with what i've got now............ so let that be a lesson to everyone out there who's thinking about getting a tattoo....don't rush into it, think hard about what you want before you make a silly mistake like i did. next though i want the names of my two kids Owen on one inner forearm and Abbie on the other.

Yes. I had my first tattoo done in 1979, 50% of mine are my own design. In fact i was in a tatoo parlour today getting some prices for some more and price for some for my wife. You seem to talk about tattoo`s in a strange way as though they are something bad, tattoo`s have been around for hundreds of years....
Edit,,,sorry I must have misunderstood you,,my apologies,,,,I love tattoos

I just got my first tattoo about an hour ago and I love it! I've been waiting to get one since I was 18 and I'm 26 now. I researched designs and decided on an Adinkra symbol that means "By God's grace, all will be well".

i got my first tattoo when i was 18, i'm now 26 and have 5.
two words to describe tatts, painfull (depending where they go) but addictive.
i consider all of my tattoos to be tastefull, and were carefully selected to represent an importance in my life and character.
i'm currently looking for tatt no,6 and as with the others, i will take my time choosing one.

I got my 1st tattoo,38 yrs ago....(when tattoos weren't cool for women) its a little heart on somewhere not seen...10 yrs later, had a cross(cross looks like wooden nails..with a rose vine in twined around cross) tatted on my right shoulder. My father harassed me daily about it.(R.I.P. Pops) He told me the only people who get tattoos..are alcoholics..and people in jail...I'm not alcoholic...and I've never been in jail. When I explained to my father it was a spiritual thing...he never downed me again...We are of Sioux Indian heritage. Proud.. I have never ever regretted my tatts...and plan on getting 1 more on my 50th birthday..coming up soon!
