Virginia College Question. Which one should I choose?
What is Virginia Tech like? Is it fun, nice, and social? I can't decide btwn Liberty or VT and I want to know which one is better? Which one should I go to? I want to know which one has better classes for me. I'm going to be a doctor or a chef. Which one should I choose?

Liberty is a religious school founded by Jerry Falwell. If you do not agree with the views he held, it would be a horrible place to go -- socially. Whether you agree with their religious views or not, it is a horrible place to go -- academically. It is not well respected.
As for Virginia Tech -- it is one of the better schools in the Virginia public university system.
US News puts Virginia Tech at #71 in the country -- which is really quite good. They rank Liberty as a fourth tier regional university. you can't get any lower than that.

Doctor. Neither of the above. UVA is better from a chance of future employment. I did not go there but the grads are highly recruited.
