Is this what you are saying?
... 3t/(t-2) * (3t-6)/t²

If so
you have all of this as the numerator (the top of the fraction):
3t(3t-6)
and all this on the bottom (the denominator):
(t-2)t²
...[fraction is 3t(3t-6) / (t-2)t²]

If we take a 3 out of the brackets for the top we get
9t(t-2)
and on the bottom we have
(t-2)t²
...[fraction is 9t(t-2) / (t-2)t²]

because we have (t-2) on both bottom and top we will cancel those to leave
9t over t² ... [looks like this: 9t/t²]
the Ts cancel out to leave
9/t

ANS:3t over t-2 times 3t-6 over t squared = 9/t

3t/(t-2) * 3t-6/t^2
= 9t^2 - 18t / t^3 - 2t^2
factor 9t(t - 2)/ t(t^2 - t)
cancel out the t's
= 9(t-2)/(t^2-t)
