it is a 1991 toyota van with 333,081 miles it has a timing chain it maybe a ignition misfire?

Or maybe it's a 333,081 mile old Toyota and is so worn out it isn't running on all cylinders at idle.

Easy things to do are to have the throttle plate and bore cleaned and consider a http://www.BGprod.com engine cleaning. Also add some Chevron Techron to the gas tank every few months.

you need a tune up...replace the distributor cap,rotor,plugs and wires you might wanna do that anyway if it continues to act up take it to a garage and have them put it on the machine and trouble shoot the problem....good luck

thats what im thinking , its probably time to change the plugs and wires
