So, when i was born, i was cursed with weak ankles. Now after a couple years of dance training, my ankles still get soar and hurt from dancing. Also if i walk a long time, i get a spliting pain in my ankle. That's how it's always been! I tried ice skating, and was pretty good, but my ankles were just 2 soar to continue on. So now i have dance everday, sometimes twice a day, and my ankles r starting 2 get really soar! When im at school i have to tape them up so they dont get 2 soar walking all around all day. Is there anything else i could do besides soaking my ankles and just trying to dance more?

You might want to go to physical therapy and ask for special exercises. Maybe it's some particular muscles you need to work on, and it might get better. Especially the sharp pain in your ankle, I think it needs attention. Everyone is supposed to be able to walk without pain. 2 years of dance training is usually the time when people tend to experience problems with sore or hurting feet, in my observation. (I was there, too). The reason is you're placing higher demands on your feet, but your feet didn't develop yet. What usually happens is people either figure out how to fix the problem, or end up injuring themselves further, to the point where their dance progress stops. It's hard to give general advise on how to improve your ankles because everyone is different, what worked for me didn't apply to my friend, she needed completely different exercises and aids.
