I went to a wedding this weekend with my girlfriend. Of course everyone knows we are together, so it's obvious we are lesbians. My girlfriend can DANCE... (you think you can... but til you see her... you'ld be jealous) So this straight girl give her the 'come here' finger, so my g/f goes to dance with her (which is okay with me) and then she pushes my g/f away like she is grossed out. Which makes all the guys laugh. Then the girl starts dancing with someother girl pretty 'naughty' like and the guys love it... but if my g/f and I dance... we get ridiculed.
Why is it ok for these straight girls to dance together LIKE they are lesbians, but not REAL lesbian?

ewwww!!!!!!!!! they do it for male attention and it's just gross to need attention that badly. with real lezzies, people can tell you/ we don't have any need for a man or his attention. his Jr. would be inneffectual, we can lift our own heavy things, and tee hee buy ourselves something. i think it's HOTT. my sexy woman would think it's HOTT and our attention would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy better than brutus. keep on dancin grrlz!!!!!

Simply put...because some people are stupid. My partner and I have always asked the couple at weddings if it is okay if we dance together. Only once were we told no and that's because the bride (the groom was my friend from college) was afraid of what her mother might do or say. We didn't like it, but we understood. Every other time the answer has been, "Of course you can dance together. If anyone cares or says anything obnoxious, let us know and we'll take care of them." Another friend said, "We'd be offended if you didn't dance and so would my parents" (we were fairly close to her parents as well). My favorite was a friend's new husband who stopped me as I walked pass the dance floor and said, "Get your partner and get the Hell out on the floor."

You can tell by how and when they kiss/suck/**** you. If they only kiss/suck/**** you in front of guys, then they re faking. Another way to tell if she s not really into girls is by watching her eyes. If you go to a club or party and she s only checking out the guys (never the girls) then she s faking. Another way is to find out her dating history. There will always be women who switch over and never look back, but if she has a history of only being with guys....keep that in mind. I used to know a girl in high school who claimed to be bisexual, but she never dated girls. She only dated guys and to this day, she has still only been with guys. Every time hot girls would come up and flirt with her, she would get really scared and uncomfortable and leave. Then one time a hot girl tried to kiss her and she almost threw up. That was the clearest sign that she was not into girls.

People are so rude!
In my books, anyone is allowed to dance with whoever they want in whatever way they want, its just dancing, there is no harm to it.
You cant change assholes, they are 'born' that way, so just let them be but dont let them effect you, if you look like ur upset and what they do or say is getting to you, then they will do it more, but if you look like you dont give a ****, they'll stop, just dont pay attention.
Im sorry you had to experience that and at a wedding too.

I don't know, guys think it's hot but I think it's slutty to do something just to entertain guys like that. It's annoying, like there are all these guys at my school and they call other guys "gay" as an insult but when two girls make out it is hot. Ugh, it's just one of the many things wrong with our society.
