I would suggest a Convertible if you have no children and have no need for space as well as if you live in a warm enviorment all year long. However, if you have children a convertible is dangerous, and a coupe would be more practical. If you do not live in a warm enivorment, it would not be suitable to get a convertible as you would never be able to have the top down anyway and it would get way to much wear and tear on the canvas of the top from the cold weather.

If you are into performance, get the coupe. The coupe is lighter, faster, and has better handling than the convertible.

i'd say coupe, with no convertible, though coupes have their cabrio types. the main reason is the luggage space is 80% taken when the hard-top or canvas roof is down.

You could get a convertible with an optional hard top.

It depends on where you live. Here in the Northeast, there's only about 4-5 months of good convertible weather, and unless it's a hardtop convertible, the drastic temperature changes and sometimes harsh weather can beat the heck out of a ragtop.
