I am an adult over the age of 60. I enjoy chatting. is there any thing wrong with that?

I will also chat with people. I like to chat about gardening but can chat about other things. The girl at the grocery store. my postman,my neighbor. I love to chat to phone sellers, they call to sell me something and I will ask about their family and what they watched on tv last night . I do not think they like to chat with me

Its supposed to be a good preventative for alzheimer.
Personally I think that computers should be donated to rest homes so that people 80 years old can share their knowledge and memories with the net. Drop them into chats where clueless people are talking about the great depression or world war 2.
Sure some of them can be grouchy and rude. GOOD. Dont leave the chats to be taken over by even ruder teenagers. :-)

Why? Is somebody criticizing you for chatting? I'm an over 60 too, and I chat with most everybody. I chatted with the little girl who rear-ended me today, because she was driving while playing with her puppy. I'll also chat with the chiropractor, if he ever calls me back.
