yes i have 2,ages 17 and 32, and believe me it is very difficult from the day they are concieved. don't get me wrong they ars a joy and i love them more than life itself but this is literally a 24/7 ,365 day a year job. THE HARDEST JOB IN THE WORLD,a job you never retire from. so the answer to your question is: it is more difficult than it seems.

I have 3 one of each..... a boy a girl and a cat.....:D
my son was a little harder to rear then my daughter....but both were are pretty good kids.....actually they are not kids anymore my son will be 29 in a 13 days and my daughter will be 25 in January....
Now the cat that is a different story....

I find it amusing that all the answers up until the time I looked were from people who were not parents. No, I'm not either but I feel like I deal with children all day long.

I have four. Two are grown and two are still at home. It can be difficult at times.
