When I get my period it only lasts 2-3 days. I've talked to some of my friends and theirs last about 4-7 days. My first day is light-medium flow, the next day, somewhat light and the third day theres like nothing but the brown discharge. Is this normal to only have a period 2-3 days? I mean I'm not complaining cuz its so nice, but I'm just curious.

Being on the birth control pill makes you much lighter. Before I started the pill my period was very heavy and lasted 6-7 full days, you can imagine the horror I felt in high school. Then I started the pill and I only have it 2-4 days very light, even my heavy days are not as heavy as one of the days back before I started my pills. So if you are not on the pill I guess my answer is irrelevant.

Completely normal, Mrs. Dicaprio. I used to go 7 days years ago when I started. Over the years, the time narrowed to about 2-3 days. It's good that you know your cycle so well.

Mine only lasts 3 days, usually.
My flow's low-medium to high-medium for the first two days. very light on the third.

Well a friend of mine, her period lasts 2 days. Mine however lasts 7-9 days (yeah, for real). So I would say you are normal, and LUCKY!!!!!

No, that's completely normal because your friends have heavier periods which really sucks. I wish I had a light period like you, mine lasts 10 days and I bleed so heavily it passes through my pants. =(

everyone's period is different. i've have had short periods like you described. if that's the way it is every time, you might be one of the lucky few who has light periods. if you're really concerned, then go see you're gynocologist and talk to him about it.

It is perfectly normal, especially if you are on birth control pills. The normal range is quite wide on this topic. As long as your periods are consistent for you, you should be okay.
