Invite birds to your yard.
These guys are natural enemies, but only if you attract the right birds. I have been looking for a reptile repellent of sorts to use with geckos here in Florida for a while with no avail.
If you find something that is reasonably cheap or simple, I'd like to hear about it.
But I think that birds might do a bit to scare the snakes away.
I have seen people use fake owls hung in a tree branch not too far from where you are wanting to repel the snakes. I think that they are using them for other birds and rats or mice, but may be for snakes too. I mean if I put a hungry bear in my living room I wouldn't want to be around there anymore, would you?
Or maybe another predator of snakes like a mongoose or something like that, not the actual animal, but maybe some scent like urine smell or something. Ferret piss maybe?
Think like a snake. Maybe one of those windmills that has a thumper thing at the ground level that repels groundhog and goffers.
Can't think of anything else, but knowing your enemy is the first step to defeating them.
God bless you.

No poisons. they don't paintings. the suited way is to get rid of their nutrition furnish, especially mice, and crickets. in case you have a chook feeder, placed a preserve decrease than it, and empty it on a daily basis. Snakes at the instant are not involved in open areas. This makes them liable to hawks, and different predators. Mow your backyard. sparkling out the underbrush in wooded aspects. Snakes are mushy to vibrations, so an anti-mole gadget that vibrates could help. those are battery-powered, and periodically make vibrations that disturb the moles(and the snakes). wanting that, conceal your abode in concrete, glaze it over to a gentle floor, like tile floor, and the snakes won't come there. VERY high priced! solid success.

Don't pile things next to the house.
