Playing the drums isn't doing two things at the same time any more than typing is. But yes lots of people can do two things at once, I can drive smoke a cigarette listen to the radio and scratch my left shin with my right foot all at once, sometimes I even do it while bobbing my head to the music. pretty impressive huh?

Yes - I have had some terribly boring, repetitive jobs and used my mind to take me a thousand miles away. But I don't recommend it. While you are thinking about sunny beaches and beautiful ladies, the roof may fall on your head. You don't get to have another mai-tai, you get to feel a bump on your noggin in whatever room you are sitting in.

Yes. We all do that everyday, may it be at work or at school or at home.
How so? Everytime we do something, we also breathe, right?
