Are you really expecting to have sound campaign decisions be made by a man whose only claim to fame is a pretty good speech he gave a few years ago at a political convention?

Really?

Who cares why he doesn't....who cares why he did?

He's the Pat Paulsen of modern national politics, and the sooner he fades away the better the nation will be.

Electing an apostate Islamic would be giving him the death sentence anyway....you don't just walk away from an Islamic upbringing. It doesn't matter one tiny bit what he believes, the cult that resolves all conflict by resorting to a fatwah of death will view him as one who turned his back on Allah, and the first state visit to an Islamic nation will bring down some mullah's judgement in the form of an extremely violent attack.

Let Barak Hussein Obama live and be free here in America....keep him a wannabe politician.

Your statement that "all Democrats are anti-American" is unfair. A lapel pin is really just symbolism. But that was a really dumb move by Senator Obama, its not going to play well in Middle America or anywhere, I don't think he should have to wear a lapel pin but I mean you shouldn't say you're not going to wear a flag of the country that you want to lead. Supposedly it was because he dissapproves of the foreign policy but that's a bad idea too because he could be the one that changes it if elected. He's really made some dumb moves, this could be like one of the things that sank Michael Dukakis in 1988, when Bush hit him hard for saying he wouldn't make them say Pledge of Allegiance in schools. Democrat or Republican you definetley have to play patriotism in your campaign to compete. And it explains why the battle-hardened Senator Clinton is continuing to beat this kid who seems like a bit of a lightweight.

"Wearing an American flag lapel pin is seen as a tradition on the campaign trail. Obama said Thursday that he stopped wearing one shortly after the Sept. 11 attacks, telling reporters at a campaign stop in Iowa that “I probably haven’t worn a flag pin in a very long time. After a while, I noticed people wearing a lapel pin and not acting very patriotic....

"My attitude is that I'm less concerned about what you're wearing on your lapel than what's in your heart," Obama said. "You show your patriotism by how you treat your fellow Americans, especially those who serve. You show your patriotism by being true to our values and ideals. That's what we have to lead with, is our values and our ideals."

Does not wearing an American flag pin make you "anti-American"?

Being patriotic speaks a lot more loudly than just wearing a pin that you hope will show that you're supposed to be patriotic.

Do you really, in all honesty, believe that all Democrats are anti-American...? Get a life and get real. He said that he believed that most people wear the pins like they have to prove to someone they are a patriot. He doesn't have to prove he is. Do you realize you are destroying the Republican name?

Wearing a pin does not make you anymore of an American, but with his desire to get close to Castro and Chavez, and his ties to the Muslim religion he is shooting himself in the foot YET again.

Is he Irish now?

I bet all the other candidates frantically looked for theirs and put it on real fast-like! Obama realizes that one doesn't have to wrap themselves in the flag to be patriotic.

Because he realizes that it takes more than a Made in China pin or car sticker to be an American.

He might not want to anymore.
Do you wear yours.

By calling all Democrats anti-American, you show that you do not understand what patriotism is.
Is that why you just watch?
