Persistance. It pays off in the end. If you keep getting your voice out there, everyone hears it & although they may not be listening now... they will later.

It is your near and dear ones who gives less ear to you. It is perfectly a nice challenge you must face and overcome. Listen more carefully what your Mom, Dad or BF talks without never even saying a word. Be a complete mute listener. After couple of days or weeks, propose to them that having listened to them for so long time without interrupting them, to have a rule that each of them (between one to one) shall say something for 10 to 15 minutes and after that they should just listen to other. If this does not work, then you sit lonely in a place and talk to a voice recorder or video camera and record whatever you wanna say. then play them to your dear and near audience. It should catch their attention. Try different tactics on a daily basis and you will strike success someday. If nothing works out, then go out and talks to aged and/or young children who always will listen to you.

I find that pulling my dress up over my head and yelling "FIRE" at the top of my lungs seems to get their attention quite nicely!

Taking off your top wehen you start talking may make people pay attention to you, but probably not your words.

It all depends on what you want said. If you want only one person to listen to you, why don't you try writing to them?
