Council tax can cost anything from £13 to £25 per week

Water and sewrage approx. £12 per week (consider a water meter as might be cheaper for two person household)

Gas and electrical total approx. £25- £30 per week

TV licence approx £5 per week

If you are on a low income you may qaulify for some help towards council tax and rent....ask your local authority

The only predictable item is the TV licence. Everything else depends upon the property you are going to rent. When you find one you'll know what the rent is. Then contact the utility companies to learn what the previous usage was and you'll have a rough estimate what you may be looking at.

You must not live in the U.S. I've never heard of a council tax or a t.v. license. There is no way to answer this, its going to be different depending on where you are. What I pay for these things is going to be totally different from what you will pay. You need to look in your area and ask around.

It really depends on a lot of things. When you are looking at a place, ask the former renters how much they spent each month on the place and other incidentals.
