Dragon's blood is a bright red resin that is obtained from different species of four distinct plant genera: Croton, Dracaena, Daemonorops, and Pterocarpus.
Uses:
As incense or resin: to cleanse a space of negative entities or influences, to increase the potency of spells for protection, love, banishing and sexuality
As an oil: for anointing and blessing tools before and during rituals, including spell casting, working magick, and other ceremonies

Having a history of Witchcraft in the family doesn't make anyone a blood Witch anymore than having Christians in the familiy make you blood Christian. A Practice is not a genetic trait. One can have a natural talent for using herbs or understanding stones, but that doesn't mean they are a Witch. Being a Witch takes study! You aren't automatically a Witch just because your great grandmother was a Witch and you think you have some sort of psychic ability. It just means you were born into a family who practiced the craft at some point and you are a sensitive (anyone can be a sensitive and not be a Witch). If you want to be a Witch, don't look for excuses to stop you from doing work towards it. You'll only hurt your self in the process (and I don't mean literally). If you want to be a Witch, you have to do the work, and that means STUDY! Learning, research, etc. You can't just one day open your eyes, learn something about your family and decide "Oh, my aunt/grandmother/mother whatever was a Witch so that must mean I'm a Witch too". It doesn't work that way. -Read books -Research sites -Join forums -Find a teacher Having lineage doesn't make you a Witch.

Dragon blood resin is ruled by fire. It could be burned as an offering to any fire deity. Another answerer mentioned driving away negativity. It will also attract positive energy to fill the void left by the negative energy. A small pinch can also be added to most other mixtures to "jazz" it up a bit.
