set it up so that they equal to eachother:
80 miles / 1 hour = 90 miles / x hours
then cross multiply and solve for x so that you have:
(80 miles)(x hours) = (90 miles)(1 hour)
(80 miles)(x hours) = 90 miles*hour
divide 80 miles by both sides and the miles in "miles*hour" gets cancelled out:
x hours = 1.125 hours
then you have to convert hours to minutes. since there are 60 minutes in an hour, just multiply your amount of hours by 60:
1.125(60)
and you get 67.5 or 67 minutes and 30 seconds
lotsa luck, hope it helped

80/60 = 19/x
80x = 19*60
x = 19*60/80 = 57/4 = 14 minutes 15 seconds

time = distance/speed
time = 19/80 (unit is hours) = 0.2375
= 14 mins & 15 seconds
Check your work, 14.25 is almost 15minutes which is a quarter of an hour.
and 19 is almost 20 which is a quarter of 80

it would take 23 minutes.....divide 19 by 80
rate * X = distance
80 * X = 19

What you are trying to figure out is the number of minutes, so minutes needs to be in the numerator, then you simply figure out how to cancel out the remaining units of measure
=60minutes/1hour * 1hour/80miles * 19miles
