It was pink, about a quarter of an inch long (maybe a little less), and kind of resembled a small cricket. I'd never seen one before, and it was in my bathroom sink. I wasn't sure if I should just wash it down the drain, or leave it be. Might it have been a juvenile cricket?

I've seen red crickets, so it's not too much of a stretch to imagine a pink one. Exactly what kind you have, I don't know, but crickets come in a variety of sizes, many rather small.
