A friend just told me he rarely sees my questions, because they are covered by the questions I star...

Thank you for your answer! :)

Have a wonderful weekend! :)

Gaz - that's exactly what I (we) do, but most people here don't. The questions I ask when my contacts and friends are not around have much less answers, few people see them. Have a look, you'll see :)

I keep changing my mind on this one. The idea of the best against the best was something I dreamed about as a kid. However the Olympic ideal is amateur athletes, in fact having these pros there does take away from the rest of the athletes there - the true Olympians. I am going to say No, end the experiment for the following reasons, 1) the Olympics are about amateur athletics 2) risk of injury- I'm sure Ottawa fans remember Hasak. If the Olympics were in the fall maybe but just before the playoff run- the timing is bad. 3) I enjoyed the hockey more when the pros weren't there. Now Canada is expected to win and its a disappointment if they don't. In the old days we were underdogs and I enjoyed it more. 4) Some of the young guys would stay out of the NHL an extra year and play with the national team, then join the club that drafted them after the games. This would also create hype for the NHL. Ie similar to Joe juneau in 92 and brian savage in 94. 5) As it is now many of the guys there are not giving 100% anyway because of the fear of injury. We could still do the world cup to get the best of the best playing in the fall when injury is not as critical.

I just look you up on your profile when I haven't seen any of your questions Moon, I know you're around and asking. I do all of my contacts that way..if I don't see you ask, I go find out what's what! Keep starring I say, you help the questioner get more coverage that way. I care so I look for you! Have a Great weekend Moon! :-)

It's a free will... a choice of your own... like if you feel you want to give an answer to a question. To me, true generosity can't really be reflected here. It's not measured by the number of stars you give away. Star as you truly like to. Never force yourself into it. Allow yourself that freedom from the worry that people might be upset not getting those stars from you - which is baseless.

Happy day, Moon!

I don't know if this matters, but there are many times I star yours and Enki's questions even if I can't answer them and other contacts do follow and answer. If I quit starring, less of my contacts would see your questions since they aren't your contacts. If I want to see your questions, I have two ways to do that. I either go to your profile or I go to the list of contacts and pick your name. It's really not that hard.

Hi Moon,
I wasn't going to answer because I think it has all been said and I agree with so many above. An interesting question and some interesting answers, so I thought I would just 'star' your question as others might want to read it or reply to it too. Then I realised, that's my answer as well. It's good to star questions and it's good to share something that interests us and might interest others. And it's good to reward people for asking a good question. Stars help us do all this.

If you want to make your own questions stand out, try starring only the questions you think are REALLY awesome. If it helps, ask yourself if it's changed your life or is something you've always wondered about.

You have a great weekend too!

Well honey, just star questions which you like and not be bothered by what others had said though. Any one can star any questions as long as they deemed good for their likings though.

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

Moon I star questions that I think are interesting enough to let my contacts see them as well. If THEY wish to respond to them is entirely up to them but I believe that those who DO check my starred questions tend to answer them as well.

I just star the ones I think have a chance of being picked the best. You can always go back and unstar them.

I have answers home on my tool bar, when i click on it I see 2 to 3 questions, that are either stared or ask by my contacts,
below those I click on see more from your contacts, and that takes me to question ask by my contact, this was i get to see what my contacts find interesting, as well as their questions.
