I say if W. finds the methods that are used are lawful then he should undergo those same methods. This is one of the dirty little secrets of the "war" on terror.

No, I do not. We need to enhance our interrogation methods. I don't understand why all the libs and dems seem more concerned about the rights of prisoners and those out to do harm to the Americans than they do about protecting our citizens and the welfare of our Country. You want to know about torture? Ask some of the people from Iraq and Iran who have seen torture first hand; beheadings, limbs cut off, bodies burned, family members killed right before their eyes. They torture our soldiers when they are captured. Sometimes we need to enhance some of our techniques which are very mild and not anything so horrible that they will cause them permanent damage. We need to get information and it can't be done unless we have some techniques that will work. I am sick to death of hearing people sympathize with the ones who want to kill us. Listen people: panties on the head, photographs of nude prisoners, sleep deprivation and loud music or not serving meals that are appealing to the prisoners or not getting an air conditioned room or color TV is not being tortured!!!!! Get a grip and start thinking of what our prisoners of war are enduring. War is not a pretty thing. We need to use the tools necessary to get the information to enable us to be safe.

I do understand that many feel the need to resort to torture techniques in order to collect information that may save lives later. And if that works then I guess it is justifiable. However knowing that we have used these torture techniques we can not turn around and feel outraged if our enemies around the world also use torture techniques against US soldiers taken as prisoners.

No, he serially drowns people for the fun of it.
You know, if he wants to slap around people who are terrorists he will, he answers to no one anymore.
Heres the problem as I see it.
Those Gitmo terrorists, theres no point in torturing someone who has been out of reach and communication from his leaders. They don't know anything useful anymore. Its been five years, longer for some, whatever they did know is out of date. The whole thing has been shrouded in such secrecy that we don't know if we know that they are terrorists or just big mouth braggarts who tried to make themselves more important.
And what of those methods they won't tell us about?
Not to mention the Geneva Convention, suppose our enemies treat our troops like that because we no longer honor that agreement?
Bush isn't famous for planning ahead, and I wonder if this shift to violence isn't one of his less thought about ideas.

By the way, for the bloodthirsty, even McCain, who was tortured during the Vietnamese War is against torture, and it has be proven many time to result in uncertain information.
Unless the torturers are enjoying their work, they themselves become psychologically unstable. Torture, no matter what whitewashed name you call it, doesn't work, does no one any good, and endangers our own troops.
Unless you just like hurting others for the hell of it.

Whatever it takes... have people lived in caves all their lives? The FBI/CIA the KGB years of all kinds of definitions of torture. Heck gang initiation in some cases is more violent. Have you been to jail in the US let alone over seas? Watched any films like Syrianna ? Women here in Florida are getting on buses beating up bullies, the latest just yesterday pulled out a gun at a bus stop??? Police are tazing people and gunning down suspects in the streets. 60 bullets in one cop killer + his dog last year?

What do you think they do to get information? Tickle me Elmo? It's reality. Realities of war.

I say no it's not un necessary use of force to attain information to save a nation. There are no excuses for those soldier's who go beyond. Yet it has been documented that our ideas are much more humane than other countries. By far. Thank you.

Any one who believes that the U.S.A. is a torture nation is an ignorant moron.

The scum down at GITMO who DON'T DESERVE TRIALS AT ALL (What they deserve is a one way ticket to Allah and their so called 72 Virgins) have never had it so great.

They get their own Korans, arrows to Mecca, special food choices, prayer time, and prayer rugs.

Unfortunately, not even our own U.S.A. military receives food as great as the Islamofascists in GITMO do.

Sad, isn't it?

Watch all the liberals who love to defend the enemy give me a thumbs down.

Now, what will that tell you about them?

Any ways, do you honestly think that dunking their stupid hating America, Israel, and Western civilizations heads into water is torture?

Do you think playing the Red Hot Chili Peppers really loud is torture?

Do you think putting a leash around their necks and walking them like dogs is torture?

If so, you're sadly mistaken.

But whatever it takes really to keep a town or city in America from being blown up.

After all, it's either 300 million Americans or 2 little Radical Muslim men.

The liberals believe anything the enemy tells them too.

Has any one ever considered that the Islamofascists might be lying and saying hey were tortured?

It would sure make sense.

In my opinion, we definitely need to enhance the interrogation tactics.

Forget what the psychotic liberals say.

They just want this great nation to roll over and capitulate to the Islamofascists.

the reality of the subject is that Obama has been bowing to the dictators of the international and apologizing for united statesa.'s solid stance against terrorism. He additionally has been making public, photographs and info relating to the (superior interrogation suggestions) that finally weaken our place interior the conflict on terror. And this is an entire mistake to call what grew to become into occurring against the captured terrorist torture. the comparable issues are executed to our specific forces in training on a generic foundation to prepare them for a capture difficulty. If it grew to become into torture there could be numerous regulation fits against the Seals, military Rangers, and Marines.

I don't think so, but I can't know for sure because there are certain things that are not disclosed to the public, for very good reason.

Having said that, let me state that if breaking a guy's fingers will lead to information that will save lives, then go for it!

This whole idea that the government needs to disclose methods, locales of "secret prisons" and all of our intelligence secrets is insane. There are certain things that John Q. Public should not know, for his own good, because if he knows it, our enemies know it and it puts our troops and operatives in danger.

I hope to God we would use torture in certain circumstances. Hey Ali I understand you know where the bomb is hidden? After 10 seconds of no response I calmly look to my assistant and say hand me the blow torch this boy is talking

No but cutting off fingers and impaling as well as beheading seem to be. I don't see anyone crying about our people who have been murdered by those bastards.
