I heard you can stay in the Disney world princess castle now is that true??? Can you make reservations for it or do you have to win it???????????? Thanks so much!

Right now you must win a nights stay in the castle, it is part of the year of a million dreams promotion that will last through the end of 2008. I would expect it to be made available to rent after that but expect it to be very, very, very expensive especially since you must have concierge service with it and booked well in advance and often by VIP's.

Steven is right, it is now on a winner only basis. It's a part of their "year of a million dreams" promotion. I just recieved an e-mail stating that the promotion has been extended for another year (so I guess it's now 2 million dreams?). Every day a family that must include a young girl is chosen and they are informed that they are the winners early in the day. They then particpate in the first parade of the day. From what I've seen and heard, the decision is made by 9 am. So if your group qualifies (young girl with you), go in early with all smiles on and make sure the girl is all in like awe of all she sees, especially around offical looking people in chino pants and dress shirts that are carrying around clip boards (from what I've seen, they are the ones who decide/inform).
Maybe later it will be available for rent, but at very high prices and probably reserved for exclusive guests.

Right now currently, you have to win it. Actually what it is, I don't even think you have to sign up, but for anybody who goes to Disney World, they are basically in that contest. What happens is WDW has this random computer thing which will choose a certain place for a random person to be, and that person and whoever is with them, gets to stay at the castle for one night. For example, the first winner in January of this year, was a boy who was in the right place at the right time. On the Star Wars ride at MGM, he was in the chosen simulator, in a chosen seat, so him and his whole family stayed there for one night. But they will eventually let people make reservations for it I believe.

yes you can stay and usually its for the year of a million dreams campaign and someone from the dream team has to pick you for you to stay there...It would be a great thing to do but only one family gets chosen everyday out of thousands....

Ya, you can stay there for a vacation, but it's so freakin' expensive!!!!! but it is so cool, and classy, i would recomend staying there if you have BIG BUCKS!!!!!!!!
