I am creating a website by inputting html and javascript codes by hand. I need to insert a picture into my website but i dont know how to do it.
Do you know how to insert a picture i have saved onto my desktop into my website using html codes?

Where IMGURL is the address of the picture you want to add.
If the picture isn't already somewhere on the web, go to http://www.tinypic.com, upload the image, copy the address shown in the box labeled "Direct Link for Layouts", and use that for IMGURL. For example:

First you need to upload it to the server you're adding it to. Then, you'll need to put in the tag code .
