Chevy fans, what do you think about the Chevy Cobalt?

I'm getting an 07 Chevy Cobalt on Monday, I can't wait! Do you have one, is it a good car? My husband sells Chevy, so I wouldn't get anything else but a GM vehicle.

Hey whats up!

Like you, I am a GM fan and supporter. However I recently rented a base model cobalt sedan and was pretty disappointed with it. For sure it is much better than the cavalier, but I didn't like how the brakes and sterring felt, and it was painfully slow compared to my V6 Grand Am. But on the plus side, it was a very sharp looking little car and the interior was suprisingly nice, even as the base model.

Daughter just bought an 07 Cobalt 2 month ago, loves it, gets good millage looks good, very happy with it. Very tight steering and zippy. Myself prefer my Grand Am but it is a good little car

I just got one two months ago...the LT model with a standard transmission. I love the look of the car and the features, etc. But the gas mileage is TERRIBLE for a car of its size. I just traded a 10-year-old Cavalier that I loved and it got way better gas mileage (something wrong with that!). The car has a lot of low-end torque, but it's pretty hard to get it going 70(the speed limit where I live) although it stays there once you get it there. It gets you where your going, but without much performance.

My vote's still undetermined. Waiting for my gas mileage to get better, and maybe I'll like it a little more :)

It's a Chevy barely. It's more Opel than anything.Except for the Vette Chevy has not made anything since 1996 that I would consider buying. I'm just not a new car person. I prefer the older cars.
