If the people of Iraq believe they have no hope why would they invest in their country?

You said a mouth full, Tink. The thing is, Libs don't care about anyone but themselves and winning elections. They want us to fail in Iraq, because failure for Iraq and its people means victory in a very sick sense for the Libs. They're truly dangerous.

Could you be any more general? Have you talked with all the people on the liberal left (redundant BTW)? How would you offer hope to the Iraqis? Hope of what? If we play our cards right, in a few decades we might be able to restore Iraq to the point that it's citizens have as much hope of survival as they did before the U.S. invasion. Investment, I fear, is still a long way off.

It is hard to believe that a lib deleted his answer when called on it. I had asked why won't the Press & the Left challenge the Iraqi people to create wealth in their country. His attitude was they was no hope.
If the World Press acknowledged they truly hold their future in their hands, maybe they would work together to create a place where they could get along. Even in South Africa after apartheid they found a way to be civil. It is also funny after all this time of saying the US government should talk to the people, the Left & the Press choose not to. Interesting

What I don't understand is how pulling the troops out of Iraq, and knowing the extreme consequences the Iraqi people will more than likely face... And our Country committing themselves to "peace" between ourselves and other nations, other nations at peace with their neighboring nations...
And turning our backs to a cosmic catastrophe just waiting to happen IF we remove our troops from ANY region where harm to private citizens is almost 100% guaranteed.
THAT - I don't understand considering how loving and caring liberals are always claiming to be towards people who are less fortunate than others.
Their WHOLE philosophy is based on helping those who can't help themselves.
Pulling the troops out is a complete double standard on their most sacred principle.

There is no difference between an Iraqi, an Iranian, and a Palestinian. If Republicans hate Iranians and Palestinians, they must hate Iraqis, too. Be consistent with your hate. All these people want is a right of self- determination. That means leave them alone so they can work it out amongst themselves.

The left don't give a hoot about anyone but themselves. They hate America so much they will sell out anyone to see America fall.
