of job growth. Well, that explains the growing economy signs I see when I walk into the stores. Do you think Bush will leave office with a growing economy?

Yes, he has done good things for the economy.
Taxes were obviously too high. The fact that that revenue increased while taxes were lowered shows a problem being fixed.
Defense spending is up, but the Clinton's put us in danger by starving the military.
He also has fought off some really bad government welfare state ideas while getting funds for medicare drug benefits and other positive ideas.
I wish he had done more for Social Security reform and Energy reform, but Congress has been cowardly on both fronts.
The border problem is a national disgrace but at least Bush made an honest effort which is better than his critics.
BTW, Robin Hood, August jobs was not a decline. We also need more low paying jobs as well as jobs for the upper half. The working poor need more low skill jobs.

45 months of anemic job growth, August was a decline, and Sep. was weak. Job growth is NOT keeping up with the growing market, and much of the growth is in low paying jobs.

The US took drastic hits during his term of office. from 9-11 to Katrina, I'm suprised the economy is in such good shape as it is now. We should be thankful.

Yes I do. And the democrats will kill it with socialized medicine and new taxes on working people and business.
