Nope, everything in the park comes with the gate tickets. Now, you will have to stand in line, but you knew that already. For the parades and night time shows, especially Spectromagic, Illuminations, and Fantasmic plan on finding your spot at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours before the show is supposed to start if you want good seats.
The only suggestion I would give you is to add the Park Hopper option to your tickets. The park hopper gives you the freedom to come and go as you please instead of getting stuck going to only one park per day. For example, if you spend some time at the Animal Kingdom, but decide after a rest and dinner you want to try to go to MGM and catch the Fantasmic show and ride Tower of Terror, you can ONLY do that if you have the park hopper option. It just gives you the ultimate in flexibility.
For more info, I would check the Disney website. Also, check out the disboards. The disboards is a message boards website where you can ask questions, get trip reports, resort reviews, restaurant reviews, tips for avoiding crowds, and much more.
Hope this helps, have a great trip!

Chester & Hester's Dino-Rama in the Dinoland USA portion of Disney's Animal Kingdom has come classic carnival midway games that are a couple of bucks each to play.
The shows you mentioned (SpectroMagic, IllumiNations, Fantasmic etc.) are all included in your ticket price.
Disney does sometimes have special "Hard Ticket" events like "Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party" that require a seperate ticket. These events usually go from 7PM - Midnight.

The only attraction requiring an extra charge is the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade in the Magic Kingdom (25 cents per play). Fireworks are included in park admission, but special dinner packages (like those for Fantasmic! and sometimes the Epcot show) cost extra.

Everything in the parks attraction wise is included in your entry ticket, so once you go in a park you can do everything. The exceptions are only special tours or VIP viewing for shows or parades which you would book in advance. Some things outside the parks are extra cost such as the water parks but you can book them with a package and like the four theme parks once your in everything I covered. WDW offers many special things at extra cost like surfing lessons and boat tours, renting a boat, mini golf, golf, just about anything you can think of. But when you book a package and it includes theme park tickets they get you in the parks and allow you to ride all the rides and see all the shows at no extra cost. WDW is really an affordable vacation.

Yes, the ones I have are good for life, but they deteriorate in value. I have some from my honeymoon 20 years ago and I called Disney World to check on getting new tickets. I had (2) 3-day passes and we only used 2 days. They would only give me a fraction of the value. It wasn't worth it because I wanted to keep them for souvenirs. Apparently the newer ones can not be done this way.

Extra Magic Hours require a wristband that is like a ticket.Only Disney resort guests can get the wristband to use attractions and regular guests are turned away. The wristband is not exactly a ticket but the extra expense of a Disney resort is the price one pays to obtain the wrisband. The extra magic hours attract more resort guests to the parks so they are more crowded.

All rides and attractions are included in the passes.
Park hopper passes are the most Economical if you plan on visiting more than one park. Visit

Your entrace covers all cost of everything you mentioned. The only attraction that you pay extra for is the penny arcade in Magic Kingdom's Frontierland.
Rides, attractions, fireworks are all part of Park admission.

Nope! Your ticket gets you access to all rides and shows inside the theme parks.
The only things extra that you have to pay for are food, souveniers, and any games (video games, penny press machines, etc.).
They did away with the individual tickets several years ago...
