I personally think that the plastic surgery mania for purely cosmetic reasons has gone about as far as it can go.
It's an expensive hobby, for sure, and there are some people who just seem to have way more disposable income than they know what to do with, so they're always going under the knife to improve what's usually pretty good to begin with, just because of some flaw that they perceive as unendurable.
Sad, really, when one considers people who have been involved in horrible accidents or fires or have been victims of violent crimes that have left their faces totally devastated.

I think it's stupid, and it serves them right if something goes wrong.
My answer does not apply to those who need reconstructive surgery after an accident, it applies to vain and shallow people who think looks are the most important thing.
