Is anyone tired of paying the Ebay fees to sell?

I am wondering if there was a alternative that was as popular as ebay and free like craigslist. But also had the ammount of products that ebay has on its site

would you make the switch?

Well, you'd pay fees if you were selling at a booth in a flea market, or selling in a consignment shop. It's a service provided, with a lot of extras like insurance and easy payments and stuff thrown in. I'll stick with eBay.

Yes I'm very tired of the Ebay fees, but it's understandable though. The way I see it is you have to pay to receive the traffic. No other place on the internet has as many potential buyers as Ebay, but that's understandable being that Ebay pretty much has a monopoly on the online auction market.

ebay has high fees but you are gonna get a lot more traffic in comparison to other auction sites. however if we all start switching over to a specific auction site then it'll grow and rival ebay therefore forcing ebay to lower fees to compete. but like i said alot of people (sellers and buyers) are going to have to start doing business more on one specific site.

anyways http://www.ubid.com is #2 auction site in america so thats your next bet. it still charges a fee just not as much as ebay, and theres no listing fee so if your item doesnt sell you're not out of any money

anyways i would sell about 75% of my stuff on ebay and another 25% on another site like ubid just to see how easily the product sells on the other site. if i saw more people going to that site then i'd invest more of my product in that site

lets all coordinate to bring up another site so ebay wont rule anymore. good competition always brings down prices!!!!!!

I totally agree with you. I mean most of the time the items dont sell. I sell small items that are worth around $10, and there is a fee of around $4. You need to spend a good $20 to even get a good chance that someone with see your listing. I say Froogle may work!
