I want to travel from Greece to Sweden on my own at Christmas.. I am 16.. I have never traveled by plane before..I am scared.. What can I do?? I want a lot to go in Sweden..Please help me...

You will be fine, really!!First of all u should buy some travel calm tablets, they will definitely help u to relax.And then get some good music, good book or maybe sudoku, whatever u like doing when u have a free time and that will keep u busy. And also if u are a chatty person im sure u'll find somebody to keep u a company and u wont even realise how quickly the trip will go. Im sure u will love it!!

Why must you be alone? I think you'd enjoy your trip a lot more if you found a person who you trusted to go with you?
I say go for it but take care of your safety and that means that it would be better to travel with a friend, even if that means that you have to delay your trip for a while while you find somebody to go with you.

Because you're legally underage, the airline will have one of their officials escort you to and from your flight, it's now common policy for what they call 'unaccompanied minors'. Have your Mum phone the airline to verify this. I have seen this with children who are travelling unaccompanied, they stay with a very nice lady who works for the airline until they board, and then at the other side they are met by another very nice lady.
But it would be nice for you to have a friend to travel with. And flying is very very safe now.

At your age and with your inexperience you won't have any fun on your own. Take a friend or don't go - being scared is not the best way to start planning a trip!
