You should start by reading. Your local library should have a few of these books, or you can buy them.
Please avoid anything written by Silver Ravenwolf. She's not a good source for real information. Good luck! (And remember that your parents should be told of everything you're getting into.)
Also, http://www.witchvox.com has great information.

Witchcraft is far deeper and more spiritually based than learning a few spells.
Like any other path there are many ways to learn. You are at an age where you are ready to take on a lot of ideas. The first one you should be aware of is how to protect yourself.
The websites I have seen are good for info but not for ethics.
There are some authors who are well respected and give sound advice for those interested in the path. There are also those who write from a more academic view point and are well researched.
Janet and Stewart Farrers:
The Witches Way
A Witches Bible
Spells and how they work
Ronald Hutton:
Stations of the Sun
Triumph of the Moon
James Frasier:
The Golden Bough
Also books by Dion Fortune, Dorien Valiente, Gerald Gardener, Marion Green and Richard Cavendish.
Avoid anything that sounds to good to be true, it is.
Also no one ethical will consider you for a group, circle or coven yet. You are to young. Don't get into conversation with people you don't know or except invitations.
What you can do is study and learn.
Many of the books and authors I have mentioned are available from public libraries. You should not have to spend money if you don't want to.
These books can also lead you to other areas of study. i.e; Eastern philosophies, Yoga, Qabala, Herbalism, Healing, Divination.
Before you start practising anything else, learn to use your intelligence, instinct and intuition. Don't be afraid to question anything. If it is true the answer will support it.
Good luck

I think it would be a good thing if you go into this understanding very clearly the nature of magic and spellcasting.
Spells are for the caster. They DO help you articulate your intention, focus your mind, and assert your will. They DO NOT take the place of physical action and behaviors and the real work that goes into creating life how you want it. The creation process goes Thought --> Word ---> Deed. Spells help you with the first two. The last you must do on your own to make your intention manifest.
Not really how-to, but some good books that I think discuss witchery very well, and are extremely enjoyable humorous fiction, are the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett that focus on witches.
Equal Rites
Wyrd Sisters
Witches Abroad <---My favorite
Maskerade
Lords and Ladies
Carpe Jugulum
The Wee Free Men <--about a young witch
A Hat Full of Sky <---about a young witch

There are many great places you can read up on Witchcraft, but I would advise to read all that you can before making any life changing decisions. I began walking the path of Witchcraft when I was 10, so I do know what your saying, however, I didn't have anyone I could talk to, as noone in my family practices. But my parents and my brother were very supportive. Just remember, make sure this is what you want before making any life changing decisions. I would also advise going to Barnes and Noble (or any book store) and picking up a few beginners books from the New Age section, as all online info is helpful, and getting books from the library, but not all librarys have a very good selection. Besides, it is better to have your own books as well. Good luck to you, and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me, I will answer in the best way I can :) I am also including all the websites I know, that I use all the time, they are all great!

This is my standard answer to this question as it does seem to come up quite often.
I have a couple of questions for you to really ponder.
1. Why do you want to practice witchcraft or be Wiccan? (witchcraft is not synonomous with Wicca)
2. What lead you to this path?
3. What do you expect to gain from it?
If your answer to ANY of these questions is "power", forget it. If you are wanting to get into it just for spell work, it is not a good idea, there is a lot more to it.
READ!!! Find out which denomination you would prefer. You may find your answer in, Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft.
I would not bother with any type of initiation or gathering of ritual tools until you find which path you are going to follow. I have many tools, but then, I have been practicing for a very long time. My particular path essentially needs only a Staff, Dirk (athame) and a Keek-Stane (or crystal ball). Other tools can be acquired as needed.
I am Pecti-Witan (aka Hedge Witch, not Wiccan) a "solitary" practitioner of "the Old Religion", and have been for many, many years. Being a "Witch" is nothing like what is portrayed in movies or on Television. There is nothing flashy about it. we are fairly simple people with "abilities" that everyone has, ours are just honed and utilized. Lots of research and practice. There is a lot to learn when you are dealing with herbal, mineral and candle magick.
I read tarot cards, rune stones and utilize a number of other tools for divination but would NEVER charge anyone for anything I do! Besides, I do not do "readings" or "cast spells" for others on demand. That sounds more like a con game to me!
Now as for what I did to start, well, it seemed to come naturally to me, (my mother was a witch and my great grandmother was the daughter of a Comanche medicine man) and I believe this is not my first life (nor the last) as a witch. I have always had a deep respect for nature and have an innate ability to communicate with animals. When I was very young my parents encouraged me to learn about all religions, so I did. And I encourage you to do the same to find your true path. Books are an excellent source, providing you get the right ones, there are some I would avoid (Ravenwolf). I prefer Scott Cunningham. One question you must ask yourself is are you looking for the structured system of a Coven or would you prefer the life as a "Solitary"? Buckland has some very good books outlining both. Keep in mind that you are too young to join a coven. But my favorite book is still "Wicca, a Guide for the Solitary Practitoner". It is a good place to start (or affirm).
As you have probably noticed, you also have to have a thick skin, because even in this "advanced" civilization there are still those who believe we worship the devil (LMAO), and would rather turn a blind eye to the world around them. Some will even admit that they think we should be burned at the stake! Ignorance knows no bounds.
Since you are very young, expect ridicule and really stupid requests to do "Magic" like they do on TV or in movies. It is not going to make you cool. Expect people to tell you that you are going to Hell. You will probably lose friends. Just being honest with you.
I hope you find the answers you were looking for.

Harriet - I am sorry I am not one of those people to give
you support.
I cannot believe how many people have come on here, giving you websites to contact and also their 'wise' opinion.
At 11 I think you are much too young to have a desire to
enter into anything like this. Perhaps if your aunt and your
cousin had not been 'in to it' you would not have had a
fascination for it.
I think you should concentrate on school and growing up, and not make yourself a target for bullies. As others have stated
you can delve but 'must not let anyone know about it'!! This
is so wrong. I work with children and we spend a lot time time telling children that we do not have secrets. So please,
take one persons advice - wait until your older.

I wouldn't be starting something so discipline-oriented at such a young age. Enjoy your childhood; magic and witchcraft take studying and a lot of patience.
If you're looking for secular witchcraft, I can't help you. However, if you navigate around wicca.timerift.net , there's quite a bit of information on witchcraft, even though it's more directed towards Wiccans.

Try contacting www.minorarcana.org.uk This is an organisation for under 18s interested in Paganism and Witchcraft. I don't mean to be boring about this but make sure your parents see all correspondence regarding this subject, including this!
Enjoy your questing,
Blessed Be!

Please don't be offended, but you post sounds like you are not in it for the religion, but for the fun of the spells. That's because it's the only thing said in your post a few times.
It would be like a Christian hearing someone wants to come to church just for the Wine to drink, and not for Jesus Christ or God.
Remember that the spells are a form of prayer, and that's what they are doing respectably.
They are also directing their requests to Goddesses and Gods-Are you willing to accept those deities into your life? Do you believe in more than one?
Are you willing to partake in the celebrations? and the rules, and other religious ways?
For the Christian example. it's like if I just wante dthe wine, would I be willing to go to mass? wear a cross and know what it symbolises and actually believe in it? Can I follow their ethics and rules?
You need to look into a lot when getting into a religion, because you are dealing with your own afterlife and a/the God/s. So it can't be a game.
If you are only interested in using your intent to aquire things in life, you may want to become spiritual, and not religious-While learning to direct your thoughts into a positive outcome. It's the same thing-Where you can write words down, say them-and send them to whom ever you believe in-Without being tied down someone elses beliefs, without truly knowing them.
If you really are into Wicca then by all means, go at it-But they will all tell you to never do spells until you've learned all you can about the written stuff first. You need to learn the history (which for Wiccans isn't that old) and the traditions and the meanings of it all.
Goodluck, and happy research.
And sorry if I offended you, but you didn't mention you were interested in the actual religion besides the spells, and I also use herbs, crystals, and energy-and I'm not any religion-I believe in only one God, so I don't feel you have to be restricted if you aren't into the actual religion-but again, if yah are-have fun! but be serious too.

I guess 11 is old enough. My daugters 8 and she just started learning some small things recently. You should check out the witches voice.. www.witchvox.com it has many diffrent articals as well as links to diffrent sites that give you good refrences to herbal, stone, ect.. Some important things to rember and the first lesson i gave my daughter and the other women i taught, was the Pyrimid, it goes like this
to know
to will
to dare
to keep silent.
The last one is important. Dont tell everyone at school, it will only lead to heart ache, because there are going to be meanies no matter what. Tell your mom, sisters, brothers ect, but dont just tell any one. Its not worth it.
If your aunt and cousin do it, then you all should get together on the full moon and hang out. also a good place to buy things is azuregreen.com, its cheap and has everything.
ALSO..do not, i repeat, do not, make any inperosn connections off the internet. There are evil people out there who would love to teach you witchcraft, and prolly would teach you a lot baout it, in between molesting you or soething just as horrible. I am old, and i acctually fell for a guy on the internet,(as a teacher nothing else) and he took me for a lot of time and money.
What else could I tell you?!?! there is so much, start a journal, and a BOS... book of shadows. good luck kiddo,
rember you dont need a wand or a candle to be a witch, it comes from with in. no assslymbaly required!

don't take this the wrong way. no mater how mature you feel at 11, you've not been on this earth long enough to make a decision on any belief system. it's like an 11 year old saying they are a born again christian, nobody at this age can have a full understanding of the full implications of such a choice. by all means, read up on it, read up on different choices then when you've lived some more of life, make up your mind when you have full understanding of all that it entails
