I've never been tempted to try, the bears inside are mass produced in sweat shops in China and cost a few pennies each so not value for money, even if you win first time. The local fall fair has had £20 notes fastened to blocks of wood by elastic bands and watches etc. as an alternative, and one of my neighbours stood watching and counting and walked away with £80 each day of the three day fair. It was every 25 goes that you got a winner, so they even wanted £5 extra for each £20 note. The watches looked like cheap copies too. People who run these fairs don't do it for the pleasure of entertaining.

If you're talking about the crane machines, me and my husband have gotten quite a few without spending much for them most of the time. The best times to play are when they just fill the machine, and when its almost empty. We have gotten enough for the past few years that we save them and we end up with a round tub full, and we donate them every Christmas

i have never won on these machines etc but my mum is quite a dab hand at it always walking away with several bears .. my brother once got 2 teddies in one as he grabbed two with the claw and it kept hold of them and dropped in the box for him to collect

Lol,you have really one loads,I haven't,I have tried though,I remember going bowling more than one and at the arcades I tried,and the hand would touch it,but then miss it,I wanted that bear aswell lol,it's actually the same thing for the penny machine,I know it can be done though,it's the time and way you throw.

I have won quite a few. The trick is, they will only grab properly on a certain setting ( every twenty go's or every ten etc ) stand and watch others first and try to work it out xx

I have never won. But my friend goes to London's Trocadero once in a while and NEVER comes back without one of these creatures. She once came back with a bag full of them. I believe she won 8 of them.

i was told by a lady who used to work in arcades that they are set to only pay out after they has taken a certain amount of money £20-£25
they are just as bad as fruit machines. just another form of gambling

my other half has been to blackpool every year for the last 6 years and always comes back with a massive teddy she watches ppl play the about twenty times then plays after and shes always come up trumps

do you mean the one with the crane? i win most times. one year i put a pound in and won 2 rabbits. a little girl was watching and asked her daddy to win one for her. he tried 5 times and failed so i had another go and won one for her hehe!

I have won one for knocking over coconuts, but NEVER from one of those irritating machines!
