I usually buy a phone considering both. But I am more into the features. The looks comes next. By the way, brand matters too! I have used Nokia phones for so many times and I am always pleased with the features. Last year, my husband got both of us new phones, Verizon has very minimal selections of nokia phones and since motorola Razr was soooo "IN" then, and I kind of researched about its features already, I thought we'd give it a try. I liked the stylish look, that it is slim, and it has features about the same as my Nokia phone that i use for international roaming, with international number. little did I know that Razr is just overrated. The bluetooth feature is a joke! Motorola should've made it clear that when they mean bluetooth on the phone, they meant bluetooth support for headset I guess. Because I have tried gazillions of times to transfer files between 2-3 different bluetooth enabled phones (which by the way, the Nokia does perfectly), but there was never a successful transfer so I realized it is just for bluetooth headset. The camera of the Razr isn't impressive. Quality of the picture is bad (in my opinion). To make things worse, the loudspeaker is now broken for no reason. The side volume buttons don't work no more, the voice recorder was a joke as well because even if you yell, shout or whatever while recording, it would turn out like somebody was whispering, and if you have hearing problem, you sure wouldn't hear anything at all! It is my first Motorola phone, and would definitely be my last! I have contacted motorola about it but the only thing they said was "sorry" and asking if i had drowned my phone into something or whatever. Duh?! Who would want to drown her new and expensive phone and suffer from headache because the phone is not functioning properly? That's like banging your own head on the wall real hard and blame other people! Anyway, I am sorry guys if I have already written a novel here. My point is, it is good to consider the looks and functions of a phone, because I myself do that. But before deciding about buying it, make a few research about the phone and ask some product users if possible. At least you know what to expect, right?
Uhmmm...and maybe I'll just buy a pink casing for my nokia phone too. lol! =) i too, love pink! =)

Got mine because it was a simple one and it was free with at&t..Yes, I could have gotten a razor, black jack, or the blackberry, but I am not into getting something frivilous when my money can be used to buy groceries, or pay a bill...Sorry, I am not cheap, just very thrifty....My cell phone is an old nokia and I don't really figure that wasting money on a phone is good..Know what i mean?
