Stepped on a roofing nail once, got a scar between my toes to prove it. The tetanus shot hurt worse than the wound did though.

True. But I didn't step on it.
I was cutting some wood on a table saw and didn't use a push stick to feed it. Ended up with a tungsten tipped saw blade cutting a groove eighth of an inch wide through my left thumb right up to the point where it scraped the back of my thumbnail.
Took four weeks before I could use the thumb without it bleeding again.

stepped on a rusty six inch nail. still attached to a bit of 2b1 and the nail went straight through my foot
another time jumped into a swimming pool. landed feet first on a piece of glass. Nice :{}@

True. A sea urchin in the Seychelles a few years ago. Hurt like hell. The medics pulled out a spine that was 4 inches long out of the bottom of my foot.

True. There was a can top that was in the garbage bag that I cut my heel on.The bag wasnt in the garbage can. Anywho... that scared hubby pretty bad, thought i was gonna have to have stitches. We kept the wound clean and bandaged. Just a scar now. Hubby wont let me open metal cans anymore. lol.

Well once i was on the phone and i was getting a needle for sewing and somehow the needle got into my palm of my hand pretty deep but it was at the muscel fatty part so it didnt bleed. It HURT though.

Stepped on a pop top once, an broken glass. Oh my Mom was the worst she stepped on a sewing needle, it went up into her heel , they had to surgically remove it. AAGGGHHHH!

yup
i was walking bare foot in the yard and i stepped on a nail that was straight up. it went all the way into my heel, i still have the nasty scar to remind me =(

After three days of intermittent agony I pulled a metal bristle from a sude brush from the sole of my foot - not pleasant!
