Yahoo answers gave me my identity back.
Question: Did you know you now lose 5 points everything you ask a question? I found out today. New rules everywhere. It won't bother me, I will keep asking because of your kind works, all of you.
Ok, I just had to post this as a question.
The question is: Did you know that Yahoo is now taking off 5 points when we ask a question?

Yep they have been taking 5 points for each question you ask since I have started doing this and that has been over a year now.
Just in case you haven't saw the chart of "points and level", look to your left on your screen and where your avatar is, see the "total points" that you have. Click on that number and the "points and level" will come up, scroll down just a little and you will see the chart.
By the way, I not think you are an idiot! Some people just don't know. Heck there is a lot of stuff on here that I still don't know.

Yes I did know that. I think its crazy. You would think they would GIVE you 5 points as an encouragement to ask more.
Some times you just cant figure them out.
EDIT: I just hit the feedback button and gave Yahoo a piece of my mind over losing 5 points for asking a Q.
However they gave it back they said I could nt afford to give any away I need all I got.!!!

I have lost five points everytime I asked a question right from the beginning. When you choose the right answer you get three points back. If you answer someone else's you question, you get back 2 points, etc. So it's really no big deal. Keep on asking!

Yes, I knew. They deducted 5 points every time I asked a question (but the answers I received were worth it)

We Live and Learn! I "thought" when you reached Level 5....that they didn't take 5 points anymore. (You know...you can ask as many questions as you want).
I asked a few questions before I realized that the points were being taken away. I asked a question similar to this one, only...I was...shall we say..a little indignant...about it.
My fellow yahooers were there for me though. I got straighted out really quick! LOL!

I knew that, but I have more points than I know what to do with. I can afford five points to start the conversation!
Do you want some? Just answer questions!

Yes, you lose 5 pts when you ask, but you get 3 back if you pick a best answer. Here's the link to the points, if you want to ck it out:

I am VERY GLAD you got your name back makeitright!
I wish they would give a point for each thumbs up and star given, because then I would already be on level 7!
