Okay so im 13 and i dont have my period or cramps yet, although i already had my growth spurt(pubic hair, boobs) in 5th grade. So now i'm in 8th grade and it seems like the period just doesn't want to come?? Should I be having discharge or is discharge just for certain people?? And what about those cramps?? And should I put tissue in my underwear just in case anything comes??

You're only 13, some girls don't get their period until they are 16 (or older). You will get it when your body is ready. And you will get discahrge (usually girls have it at least a year before they get their periods), every woman gets it. We need it to keep our vaginas healthy. Not every woman gets cramps, and they are lucky! I don't think you need to put tissue in your underwear. You won't get your period before you get discharge, and discharge won't make much of a mess.

Having a discharge is nothing to be proud of. In fact it has absolutely nothing to do with getting your period.

A discharge can mean many things. It can mean you have an infection, your PH balance is off, you have a venereal disease, etc. The list goes on. You'll get you period sooner or later but just remember not to boast about a discharge.

If I were you to not worry about it. You will get discharge. It could be sooner or later. All depend on your cycle goes. You need talk your mom about this. She will explain with you about discharge and period.
